ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR BUSINESS & LEGAL AFFAIRSMission:Lead legal support and oversight of all matters arising from the operation of Fox Sports and its affiliates and related companies.
Responsibilities: Support departments of the office regarding any and all legal and regulatory matters.
Coordinate with external counsel regarding legal services provided to the local office and the Fox Sports facility.
Work jointly with local and regional teams regarding specific matters that require coordination or legal advice.
Draft and review legal documents and agreements with clients, vendors, agencies and strategic partners as necessary.
Regulatory matters: coordination of regulatory and compliance matters affecting the company's business activities.
Work cross-departmentally in order to provide legal support in advancing all business initiatives.
General administrative support, including review of purchase orders, work orders, statements of work and supervision of collection/litigation matters.
Full legal support to Fox Sports Mexico: lead legal support for all legal matters, management and handling of all agreements including: talent and production contracts operations and advertising/marketing/promotional/contests and professional services agreements.
Administration, negotiations and drafting of contracts and general legal support to the business.
Legal support for all marketing and promotional initiatives.
Coordination of outside counsel: supervision and engagement of all legal support by outside counsels and review of billable hours.
General risk assessments , regulatory and compliance matters.
Partcipation as a key business partner in the company's strategic initiatives in order to grow revenues and market share.
